What a great week. Three new singles from great indie bands!
Youth Lagoon is soon releasing their new album, Wondrous Bughouse, and this is their first single dropla. It is relatively long for an indie track, but it has a certain quality which makes you listen as if you were a detective trying to unravel a beautiful mystery.
Cold War Kids are up to their usual tricks with this new single Miracle Mile. The repetitive opening beat and hammered piano keys make for an instant get up and dance hit. Look for their new album, Dear Miss Lonelyhearts, on April 2.
Finally, the beautiful track, Line of Fire, from Junip ft. Jose Gonzales. Like driving in a country sunset with a handful of regrets, Junip evokes the usual pensive nature that only your favorite movie could. This track doesn’t fail to deliver.
